Encouragement
- The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not
be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me
beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths
of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through
the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are
with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You
anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and
love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in
the house of the LORD forever. Psalm 23:1-6
- And the God of all grace, who called you to his
eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will
himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him
be the power for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 5:10-11
- He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as
it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine
and refute those who oppose it. Titus 1:9
- But encourage one another daily, as long as it is
called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin's
deceitfulness. Hebrews 3:13
- Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in
the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another–and all the more
as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:25
- Therefore encourage one another and build each
other up, just as in fact you are doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11
